Pricing FAQs
Does the NHS cover medical cannabis costs?
NHS prescriptions for medical cannabis are extremely rare and restricted to a small number of specific conditions (severe epilepsy, MS spasticity, chemotherapy-induced nausea). The vast majority of patients access treatment privately.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The fees above are the only costs you will pay to MEDCANN Pharmacy. Your prescribing clinician's fees are listed separately on their platform. We will always provide a full cost breakdown before you commit.
Can I spread the cost of medication?
We are working on payment plan options. In the meantime, many patients find that starting with a single product at the lowest effective dose keeps monthly costs manageable — your clinician will advise on this.
What if I don't qualify after the initial consultation?
If the specialist determines that medical cannabis is not appropriate for you, they will explain the reasons and suggest alternative treatment options. The consultation fee is non-refundable as it covers the clinician's time.
